Agnipath Bharat bandh live updates: States on high alert as protest escalates




 A nation wide call for Bharat Bandh today has been announced against the Centre's 'Agnipath' scheme. Students' protests in UP and Bihar have turned fierce and in view of this, tight security arrangements have been made.

Demonstrations are going on across the country regarding Agnipath scheme. People are protesting violently at different places.

इंदौर के इस वार्ड में बीजेपी ने बदला पार्षद का टिकट, VD शर्मा बोले-सिर्फ जीरों टॉलरेंस

  इंदौर ।   एमपी निकाय चुनाव में बीजेपी ने महापौर के बाद सभी जगह पार्षदों प्रत्याशियों के टिकट भी जारी कर दिए हैं. सीएम शिवराज और प्रदेश अध्यक्ष वीडी शर्मा आज जबलपुर और इंदौर में महापौर प्रत्याशियों के नामांकन में शामिल होंगे. इस बीजेपी के प्रदेश अध्यक्ष वीडी शर्मा ने कहा कि पार्टी ने निकाय चुनाव में टिकट बंटवारे पर जीरो टॉलरेंस की नीति अपनाई है. इसलिए इंदौर से एक कार्यकर्ता से पार्षद का टिकट वापस ले लिया गया है. उसकी जगह नए व्यक्ति को टिकट दिया जाएगा.  इंदौर से वार्ड प्रत्याशी से वापस लिया टिकट  वीडी शर्मा ने कहा कि बीजेपी ने किसी भी आपराधिक पृष्ठभूमि वाले दावेदारों को टिकट नहीं दिया है. इसलिए इंदौर में वार्ड 56 से जिसे पार्षद का टिकट दिया गया था उनका टिकट वापस लिया जा रहा है. इंदौर के 56 वार्ड से स्वाति काशिद को टिकट दिया गया था. बताया जा रहा है कि स्वाती के फीडबैक उनके परिवार की पृष्ठभूमि आपराधिक थी. जिसके चलते पार्टी ने उनका टिकट कैंसल कर दिया, अब पार्टी उनकी जगह नया प्रत्याशी उतारेगी.  बीजेपी बनाएगी इतिहास  बीजेपी प्रदेश अध्यक्ष ने कहा पार्षदों के चयन में भी आपराधिक पृष्ठभूमि न हो
