Ambede-Nagargao, Goa: The death of 24-year-old Shravan Devidas Barve, who was found dead near his home in Ambede-Nagargao, Sattari, on Tuesday morning, has now been confirmed as a murder. The postmortem report, released on Wednesday, revealed that Shravan died due to asphyxiation caused by forceful compression of the neck. Shravan's body was discovered by locals around 9:00 AM on Tuesday, lying approximately 200 meters from the Hanuman temple in the village. Initial circumstances surrounding his death were deemed suspicious, prompting a police investigation.
